Penny McKeever acts as a primary contact and liaison between students, faculty, campus offices and community constituents for the MBA program and other graduate and professional programs at the College of Charleston School of Business.
McKeever joined the administrative staff of the College of Charleston Business Administration Department in 1985, working with the school, regional industries and governments to establish the Intermodal Transportation Program. Currently known as the Paul T. Nelson Global Logistics and Transportation Program, it continues to be one of the most respected industry-academic initiatives in the Charlestion area.
When the School of Business was established and awarded accreditation by AACSB in 1988, she began advising students in academic and career areas. She developed the current advising program in the SB and worked with the Office of New Student Programs to streamline the summer orientation sessions. McKeever served as Director of Advising for the School until December 2007 when she accepted a new role as as the Coordinator of Global Studies, overseeing the International Business major and foreign exchange programs. McKeever served as the primary advisor for students who were pre-declared for the International Business major and facilitated the study abroad activities for all SB students.
