Samuel Z. Ginsberg

President, Harvey Ginsberg and Company

Samuel Ginsberg

Samuel Z. Ginsberg obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts in 1981. While at Babson, he was involved in the school's renowned entrepreneurial studies program. He is certified and licensed in the State of New York, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Ginsberg has extensive audit and accounting experience in the manufacturing, import, entertainment, and healthcare sectors, as well as a strong tax background in servicing high net worth clients in the entertainment and financial services industries. He has created and produced award-winning television programming.  He has created, packaged and negotiated numerous deals with most of the major entertainment companies on behalf of his clients. He also maintains extensive ties to the entertainment, recording, producing, and publishing communities.

Ginsberg is also the lead partner in RSWC LLC, an investment partnership that focuses on small and mid-size investment ventures where, based on the opportunity, the aligned team of investors and managers brings superior skills and experience to bear.  RSWC's first investment was the purchase of Dicon Technologies (a division of a Berkshire Hathaway Company) in December of 2007.   Ginsberg acted as Chairman of the Board. In July of 2009, Dicon was sold and RSWC realized a return of nearly 100 percent on its investment.

As an investor group and board, RSWC far exceeded the goals they initially set in a very mixed economy.  In the short twenty months RSWC owned Dicon Technologies, they were able to grow revenues significantly, bring a 30-year-old company to profitability, transfer the company's manufacturing operations from China to the U.S., build a large, state-of-the-art R&D and manufacturing facility, and bring over one hundred new jobs and millions of dollars to a local U.S. community in Georgia.
